Mark Ballas Reveals the Romantic Way He Proposed to Fiancee BC Jean

Mark Ballas hits the carpet while attending the ChefDance Presented by Velocity Honoring Operation Smile event during the 2016 Sundance Film Festival on Monday (January 25) in Park City, UT.

The 29-year-old Dancing With the Stars pro was joined by his fiancee BC Jean.

Mark recently opened up about the romantic proposal.

“The day before the proposal, I had the house literally turned into Woodstock,” Mark told Access Hollywood. “Our manager for our group called and said, ‘Look, there’s been a bit of a thing at the house, you need to go confirm something. Mark can’t get over there.’ She said, ‘Yeah, no problem.’”

He continued, “When she got in there I froze. My heart was pounding. I was cool as a cucumber all day. I’ve been on stages my whole life, and when she walked in the room I thought, ‘Whoa, here we go.’ So we kind of just held each other for a minute, and then I did the [one-knee] drop, I popped the question, she said yes. Everything went to plan and the way the house was decorated � it was just absolutely incredible.”

“After she said yes, I said, ‘I have one more surprise for you,’ and I yelled out down the hallway then all of a sudden, she heard a load of yells back and all our best friends [and] family — they were all hiding upstairs in our bedroom and she had no idea,” Mark added.
