Kira Kosarin Has A Thing For Black Clothes

Kira Kosarin channels her inner 70s persona for her new feature in Kode magazine.

The 18-year-old actress and Kids’ Choice Award nominee spoke with the glossy about her love for black clothes, The Thundermans and where she wants to go next. Check it:

On makeup: “It depends on the day. A lot of days when I’m off camera I go totally make-up free. Sometimes at work I wear fresh faced makeup (with foundation, a little eyeshadow, maybe a little eyeliner, and mascara). If I’m going out I LOVE a smoky eye.”

On her love for black: “I love wearing all black. It’s not a matter of seeming ‘dark’ or anything like that, I just find it classic and sexy and beautiful. I think it’s a dancer thing. Ballerinas love wearing black because it can make you look longer and leaner and more elegant, so I grew up around that look a lot.”

On her next career step: “Who knows. I’m definitely open. I would love to do some more dramatic work in film and such, but I also love comedy and would be so happy to continue working in sitcom. I’m also definitely getting more and more into improv, so I’d love to start performing with a troupe soon.”

On The Thundermans: “So much has changed. I completely grew up on that set. I was only 14 when I booked the show and there were so many experiences I’d never had. Now I’m 18 and have gotten to travel the world, do my dream job, and develop an incredibly close relationship with a second family. I think I’ve also changed in a lot of ways just due to time that’s passed. During the three+ years working on Thundermans, I had my first kiss, graduated high school, got in my first serious relationship, got into college, and travelled to 5 different countries. It’s been the most amazing experience and I will always be grateful.”
