Peta Murgatroyd & Nyle DiMarco Use 'Hand Signals & Cues' for 'DWTS' - Watch Now
Deaf model Nyle DiMarco and his partner Peta Murgatroyd made an appearance on Good Morning America on Monday (March 28) to discuss how he learns the dances for Dancing with the Stars.
“Hand signals and cues,” Peta explained, adding that they use certain signals like a back scratch or a tap on the back to signal certain movements.
“I get freaked out by all the noise – there’s hundreds of people in the ballroom. Nyle can’t hear any of that,” Peta added “He’s in his own world with me, and it’s kinda perfect. He can’t get distracted.”
