Derek Theler Hides His Insulin Pump In The Strangest Place For His Shirtless 'Baby Daddy' Scenes

Derek Theler towers over co-stars Melissa Peterman and Chelsea Kane during their appearance on Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family earlier this week.

The three Baby Daddy actors chatted up the new season of their Freeform show, which airs TONIGHT!

Recently speaking with People mag, Derek opened up about life with Type 1 Diabetes and how he hides his pump during all those shirtless scenes on the show.

“I was embarrassed for people to see it,” he says of having carry and be connected to the pump 24 hours a day. “It was something strange that they didn’t understand.”

Derek added, “I ended up connecting my pump to one of my butt cheeks instead of my stomach,” he shared. “I figured that I’d have to expose that far less than my abs.”
