Keke Palmer Gives Powerful Speech at Melba's After Recent Shootings
Keke Palmer hosted a pop-up town hall meeting in New York City on Thursday night (July 7), following the recently shootings of Alton Sterling and Philandro Castile.
The 23-year-old actress and singer invited fans over social media to Melba’s Restaurant for the event and delivered a powerful and emotional speech before opening the floor for the community to speak.

“It starts with community! Grateful for this night and the fact that we simply heard one another. Night loved ones #LoveIsTheGag,” Keke wrote on Twitter after the meeting.
