Kiersey Clemons Rumored to Take the Lead in 'The Flash'

Kiersey Clemons is said to be the top choice for the female lead in the upcoming DC film The Flash, according to Variety.

The 22-year-old Austin & Ally actress previously starred in director Rick Famuyiwa‘s film Dope and he’s looking to work with her again.

Kiersey would be taking on the role of Iris West, the tough journalist and friend of Barry Allen, the alter ego of the Flash.

The film also stars Ezra Miller, who first appeared as the superhero in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Production is set to begin later this year.
