Newcomer Jacob Batalon Spotted on 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Set

The newcomer was joined on set that day by co-star Tom Holland. It has been rumored that Jacob will play the role of Ned Leeds, though nothing has been confirmed as of now.

In the comic books, Ned is a reporter at the Daily Bugle, where Tom‘s character Peter Parker works. Eventually, he assumes the role of the villain Hoblogin.

Jacob is a relative newcomer to the industry. He was born in Hawaii and recently studied at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.
