Skai Jackson Inspired New Black Iron Man Riri Williams, Co-Creator Says

Skai Jackson has been our favorite young actress, meme and now she’ll be our favorite superhero with this news.

Mike Deodato Jr., the co-creator and artist behind Riri Williams, the new Iron Man, who happens to be black and a young girl, says the 14-year-old actress is the basis for the new super hero!

“Riri Williams was based on the beautiful young actress @skaijackson,” he wrote on Twitter earlier this week.

Announced earlier this month, Riri will step into Tony Stark’s shoes in the new comics. Riri is a science genius who enrolls in MIT at the age of 15. She comes to the attention of Tony when she builds her own Iron Man suit in her dorm.
