OlderKatherine Haik Joins Nick Fradiani at Miss Teen USA 2016 Competition
Miss Teen USA 2015 Katherine Haik gets a hug from Miss USA 2015 Olivia Jordan on the press line at the 2016 Miss Teen USA Pageant at The Venetian Las Vegas on Saturday night (July 30) in Las Vegas.
The 16-year-old reigning queen met up with Olivia, who is hosting the event with Cody Johns, as well as Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and Miss USA 2016 Deshauna Barber, and singer Nick Fradiani.
“At the beginning of my year, I decided to devote my year to working with children and adults with special needs! Throughout this year I’ve gotten to work with the most amazing organizations & do the most heart warming events!” Katherine wrote ahead of the festivities this weekend.
She added, “This picture is from the Night to Shine Prom which is an event that gives special needs children a wonderful prom experience! I have also gotten to work with Best Buddies, Arc Gateway, and the Special Olympics during my year! I hope I impacted the lives of the people that I have met at these events as much as they have impacted my life.”
