Sofia Carson Celebrates One Year Since 'Descendants'!

Sofia Carson is looking back at her time on Descendants.

The 23-year-old actress, who of course played Evie, the daughter of the Evil Queen, celebrated one year since the Disney Channel Original Movie’s release!

“One year ago today, we shared our story with you,” Sofia wrote on Instagram. “And what a year it’s been…Evie changed my life forever. I am forever thankful. And forever #RottenToTheCore. #1yearofdescendants #descendantsfamily.”

Director Kenny Ortega also acknowledged the day, writing on Instagram, “What a way to begin a new chapter! Thank you Fans for an incredible year. Your love, enthusiasm and support is felt by each and everyone of us! #descendants2 is cooking.”
