'Vampire Diaries' Alum Susan Walters is Headed to 'The Flash'!

A familiar face will pop up in Central City this fall.

According to EW, Susan Walters will be joining the cast of The Flash as Caitlyn Snow’s (Danielle Panabaker) mother Dr. Carla Tannhauser, a “world class biomedical engineer and CEO of a major research company.”

The mag reports that she and Caitlin have had a “difficult relationship,” so we’re definitely interested to see what happens!

Meanwhile you probably recognize Susan as Carol Lockwood, Tyler’s (Michael Trevino) mom, on The Vampire Diaries.

The Flash premieres on Tuesday, October 4 @ 8PM on The CW.
