Mark Ballas Choreographs Two Stunning Routines For 'SYTYCD: The Next Generation'; Top 5 Revealed!

Tate McRae and Kida Burns show off their amazing dance skills with a Paso Doble routine on So You Think You Can Dance on Monday night (August 22) in Los Angeles.

The two young dancers learned the routine from Mark Ballas for the night and made it to the Top 5! Tahani Anderson, Emma Hellenkamp and J.T. Church also made it to the top five.

Mark also choreographed a jive routine for Ruby Castro and her all-star Paul Karmiryan. Ruby was sadly sent home that night.

“So incredibly proud of @rubylcastro she crushed it yesterday. Big things ahead for this little angel… #sytycdnextgeneration,” Mark shared on Instagram later that night.

He added about Tate and Kida, “These 2 blew my mind yesterday. Seeing them step out of their comfort zone & genre & take on a style as demanding Paso Doble & do it with such power & confidence was inspirational.. I was so proud of them.. Keep killin it @tatemcrae & @kidathegreat #fearless #sytycdnextgeneration.”
