Jake Short suits up while attending the Pure Michigan 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday (August 28) in Brooklyn, Mich.
The 19-year-old Lab Rats star took the wheel as the honorary pace car driver and also served as the honorary Kids Drive NASCAR ambassador, championing NASCAR’s week-long initiative to celebrate its youngest fans.

“I’m in the pace car! Tune into @NBCSN to catch the race! #KidsDriveNascar,” Jake tweeted during his experience.
He is officially the youngest person to ever drive a pace car to start a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race!
