Baby Daddy's Derek Theler Thanks Fans For Prayers After Nephew Was Born Three Months Early

The Baby Daddy actor opened up to fans on his Instagram about his new nephew Phoenix, who was born earlier this week, three months early.

“Positive vibes needed for my sis, bro and brand new nephew, Phoenix. Baby Phoenix decided to come 3 months early! We dropped everything on vacation to be there,” he wrote. “He’s fighting hard but isn’t in great shape. Need all the positive vibes and prayers we can get. Thank you -Uncle Derek.”

Derek added later with a sweet pic with his sister, “I’m so humbled by the outpouring of love and support from all of you. Thank you for sharing all of your stories, prayers and positive thoughts with Phoenix and our family. Thank you to the incredible NICU staff who truly saved his life. Phoenix is a fighter. He had a good night but has a long way to go.”
