Lucy Hale Covers Venice Mag's Fall Issue & Opens Up About Saying Goodbye To 'Pretty Little Liars'
Lucy Hale sports a wet-haired look on the Fall 2016 cover of Venice magazine.
The 27-year-old actress and singer chatted with the glossy about the final days of Pretty Little Liars, her music and more. Check it:
On saying goodbye to PLL: “It will be weird not dressing up in Aria’s wardrobe and saying her lines. I’ve spent more time with the ["PLL"] cast and the crew than I have my actual family these past seven years. We’ve literally experienced births of babies, we’ve had deaths, and highs and lows.”
On her debut album, Road Between: “I think a lot of people put me in a box and thought it would be easier for me. [Ultimately, people] could tell that thiswasn’t just someone paying me to release a record. This was something I really cared deeply about.”
On calling Los Angeles home: “I feel like this is a town of creative people that I never had growing up. I never felt like the friends around me got it. I always got teased a little bit for singing and wanting that. Everyone else was a cheerleader or whatever it was and nobody really got it.”
On her next project, Dude: “It was 18-hour days, but so much fun, with a lot of up-and-coming actors and actresses. It was so free.”
