Disney's Live-Action Mulan Sets a Release Date!

Disney just confirmed that their live-action remake of 1998′s animated film Mulan is a go and gave it a release date!

The studio revealed that the new movie is being fast-tracked and will be in theaters on November 2, 2018.

The company is now searching for a Chinese actress to cast in the role of Mulan and for a director for the flick. Jason Reed, Chris Bender and Jake Weiner are set to produce.

Disney has previously brought Maleficent, The Jungle Book and Cinderella to life through super successful live-action remakes.

It was also recently announced that Disney has plans for a live-action remake of The Lion King.
