Fifth Harmony's Normani & Ally Praise Little Mix's Recent 'X Factor' Performance

Fifth Harmony‘s Normani Kordei and Ally Brooke are definitely all for girl power.

The two singer, who are wrapping up the European leg of their current tour, spoke with Official Charts during their downtime, and opened up about Little Mix‘s recent performance of “Shout Out To My Ex” on X Factor — the same performance which brought some criticism over what the ladies were wearing.

“Oh it was fabulous! They sounded fabulous, they were fabulous, they are fabulous!” Ally shared.

Normani added, “It definitely makes me query as to where we are in the world right now, though. We definitely do get [criticism] sometimes. I remember when the Work From video came out and people had a bunch to say. We did also get a lot of support from our amazing fans, but it was kind of the outsiders that were the ones criticizing us. We’re women and we want to embrace that, so whatever makes us feel good we work really hard every single day and we want that to be seen, and we want to be confident. If I want to wear shorts or a crop top, that doesn’t make necessarily a slut. It just means I’m confident in my body because I work really hard for it!”

Later on, Ally and Normani dreamed up a Christmas album from 5H.

“Oh my god, you are freakin’ reading our minds right now me and Normani love Christmas and we’ve talked about it! I love Christina Aguilera‘s one…remember that?” Ally mused.

“I’m not sure what ours would be like. We could recreate sounds like Santa Baby and All I Want For Christmas Is You, but we actually did that a couple of years ago already. I remember being a little girl and listening to Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey on Christmas morning opening presents, so it would be a dream,” Normani said.
