'The Fosters' Star Maia Mitchell Reacts to US Presidential Election Results

Maia Mitchell has opened up on social media following the results of the 2016 Presidential Election.

Donald Trump won the race against Hillary Clinton, who many millennials like Maia, were rooting for to win and become our 45th and first female President of the United States.

“Hug the people you love today. Know that we are in this together,” Maia writes on Twitter, adding, “Sending so much love to LGBTQ, Muslim, Native American, black, Latino & female Americans. You are loved.”

Maia is also pictured below, out with her BFF Alycia Debnam-Carey, shopping in Los Angeles earlier in the week.
