Olympian Meryl Davis Calls Out Fitness Brands For Using Models Instead of Athletes

Meryl Davis wants fashion and fitness brands to use actual athletes for their campaigns.

Just days after Bella Hadid scored a Nike campaign for their new collection, Meryl — who won a gold medal at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics — clapped back at Nike and Puma all in the same post, while giving praise to Reebok.

“I’ll take the one promoted by the athlete please,” Meryl wrote with a side-by-side-by-side with Bella, Kylie Jenner and gymnast Aly Raisman.

While JJJ is psyched for Bella grabbing a Nike campaign, we def agree with Meryl that fitness brands should show more athletes.
