Shawn Mendes and Niall Horan have teamed up for a special duet!
The 18-year-old singer invited Niall, 23, backstage at the 2016 American Music Awards to perform a special duet rendition of his hit song “Mercy,” which he performed on stage along with “Treat You Better” that same evening.

“@niallhoran is a lad,” Shawn captioned with the Instagram post. Niall also hit the stage during the award ceremony to perform his debut solo single “This Town.”
“Amazing night at the @AMAs,” Niall tweeted. “Thank you for having me as per usual. Appreciate it. Now let’s have a drink.”
