On girl power: “As a young girl, I’m always going to have to work a bit harder to prove myself; that’s just reality. But having to work harder makes me feel like girls are stronger, too.”
On her dream collab: “Frank Ocean would be incredible; I’d love to be a sponge and absorb everything he says. Every song he puts out, I’m like, ‘Why didn’t I think of this?’”
On advice she’d give her younger self: “Shake the idea you are not capable: You don’t have to be born with this magical creativity, you can develop it. And don’t let anybody tell you what you are and what you’re not: The only person who knows that is you.”
