Lorde has been spending a lot of time in New York City as she finishes up her new album!

The 20-year-old songstress was seen chatting with a male friend as they took a walk on Wednesday afternoon (December 7) in NYC.

Last month, Lorde shared that she was working on her album while spending time in the Big Apple and expects it to be ready soon!

She also recently tweeted a snap of a pair of headphones, noting that she’d been using them to listen to her new album.

“listen to the record on these every day. wanna hear it exactly how you will,” she captioned the photo on her Twitter.
