Tiffany Houghton
How she got her start: “I started in New York City actually. A talent scout came up to me after a summer camp performance and through a series of many auditions and rejections I ended up landing the part as alternate for Annie on Broadway.”
Her biggest influences: “As a musician, I love Michael Jackson, amongst many. As a business woman, Sarah Blakely. I also love reading books and learning about people throughout history that led a successful lives not only in their career, but in all areas. I love the great leaders who have left this world better than they found it.”
The story behind her song “I’m Gonna Love You”: “‘I’m Gonna Love You’ tells its own story but I love it so much. I started writing that song in a hotel elevator after a date I went on in NYC.”
One thing new fans should know: “I believe in their dreams.”
What’s coming up in 2017: “A new album! I’m excited because I have worked on this album for so long, scraped it, started it over, scraped it again, and I finally feel like it’s right.”
