'The Fosters' Preview: Jesus's Head Punch Causes More Brain Trauma, Brandon Moves Home & More!

The Fosters-Adams kids are going to go through a lot when Freeform’s The Fosters returns later this month.

EP Joanna Johnson previewed even more scoop on what the kids will endure in the upcoming episodes, which start airing on Tuesday, January 31st.

Here’s everything that’s going down:

Jude (Hayden Byerly): Because of his new relationship, “we’re going to get into some interesting issues about sex education for the LGBT community in schools.”

Callie (Maia Mitchell): Always involved in the cliffhangers, she’ll have “a lot of twists and turns” as she seeks justice for Kyle “so doggedly that she often faces severe consequences for it.”

Jesus (Noah Centineo): That head punch is more severe than anyone thought. He’ll be “struggling with further trauma to his brain.” Fans can expect “some interesting and surprising stories about what happens when people have…changes in personality, as well as other physical and mental symptoms.”

Mariana (Cierra Ramirez): On top of possibly dealing with Nick’s crazy and scary moments, Mariana “gets into a little bit of therapy.”

Brandon (David Lambert): The eldest of the Foster-Adams kids, Brandon moves back home as he pursues “redemption.”
