So we already saw a first glimpse at Elena (Nina Dobrev) talking in the series finale, but now we know who she was talking to – Stefan (Paul Wesley)!

In this new promo via EW, Elena says, “What happened? What am I here right now?” to her smiling ex-boyfriend.

It looks like Elena and Stefan are outside in the scene, and he’s wearing a very dapper suit.

Also, is it just us or do his eyes seem a little teary?
