Becky G Thinks of 'Power Rangers' Trini as The First Mexican Superhero

Becky G compeltely slays it in her cover story for Para Todos magazine.

The Power Rangers actress dished about her role as Trini, The Yellow Ranger, in the new film, calling her the ‘First Mexican Superhero’.

“I can say that, that’s really exiting to say and I can’t believe it!” she shared.

“To be a Power Ranger is truly an honor, I am living a childhood dream, not just my childhood dream but the childhood dream of so many people. There’s the OG Power Ranger fans, and there’s my generation fans, and there’s the new babies that would be introduced to the Power Rangers,” Becky added about joining the leagues of the Power Rangers.

She adds, “It’s just such a cool movement. I believe that the Power Rangers represent something so much bigger than just a superhero, but the unity of being able to be a superhero with your friends, and I think that is a really powerful message. I got my little Ranger family now, it’s nice.”

Power Rangers is out on March 24th.

FYI: Becky wears a Maria Lucia Hohan dress and Swarovski rings on the cover, which was shot at Sofitel Los Angeles Beverly Hills.
