Dove Cameron Almost Gave The �Liv & Maddie� Showrunners A Heart Attack Over This One Thing

Dove Cameron is really dedicated to Liv and Maddie…so much so that one little thing she did almost gave John D. Beck and Ron Hart heart attacks.

During the same week that Patty Duke came on the show to play the twin grandmothers during season two, Dove dropped a major bomb — she’d made Liv left-handed!

“Our jaws dropped over that,” John admitted. “We [had to] run upstairs to the editor…the three of us had seen so many cuts of all the episodes and we had to look through them all again, and we all hadn’t picked up on that.”

Ron adds, “We [even] talked to the props department after that and in the scenes where the girls were doing their homework, they have notebooks on their desks. There’s one that just looks like serial killer scrawl…and another that just had perfect little hearts over the eyes. Dove was completely dedicated.”
