'Liv & Maddie's Showrunners Share First Impressions of Dove Cameron, Joey Bragg & Tenzing Norgay Trainor

When John and Ron first met Dove, they were instantly impressed.

“From the first moments we met her…we saw her a couple of times for the audition and she improved each time we met her,” John says. “The thing that really set her apart from everyone else, was that…you hear this about point guards and quarterbacks in sports, somehow with Dove, anytime she was in a scene with someone else, their performance got better.”

“She elevated everyone else who was just excited to be in a scene with this, unknown young actress that we just fell in love with.”

“I don’t think I’ve even seen another actor to do before,” Ron adds. “Every single person who was in a scene with her, they chemistry and timing was so much better…It was a remarkable ability as an actress to be performing but also to be listening and it just tells you where she’s going to go. What she’s able to do is unlimited.”
