Camila Cabello's Mom Sinuhe Never Expected Her To Become a Singer

Camila Cabello shares an extremely tight bond with her mom Sinuhe.

When Camila was only six years old, she and Sinuhe left Cuba for America, and was almost painfully shy in school — but that didn’t stop her from her dreams.

Sinuhe later admitted, that because of her shyness, she “never expected her to be a singer.”

“I have never met someone who can confront her fears in the way she does,” Sinuhe told Glamour in a new feature. “I can tell she’s terrified, but she doesn’t stop. She always asks me, ‘Do you think everybody knows [I'm scared]?’ And I’m like, ‘No, nobody can tell.’”

Camila adds, “I think the most important thing I’ve learned from my mom has been: You’re human if you have fear, but you can’t ever let it determine how hard you go at a situation. If anything, it should make you go harder�go for it all the way.”
