Kendall Jenner's Pepsi Commercial Gets Pulled Following Criticism

Kendall Jenner‘s controversial Pepsi commercial has been pulled following widespread criticism.

The ad has been removed from the company’s YouTube and social media platforms and will not be shared any further.

Pepsi was trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding. Clearly, we missed the mark, and we apologize,” the brand reportedly said in a statement.

They continued, “We did not intend to make light of any serious issue. We are pulling the content and halting any further rollout. We also apologize for putting Kendall Jenner in this position.”

In the commercial, Kendall ditches her photo shoot to join a protest march where she grabs a can of soda then hands it to a police officer as the crowd erupts in cheers.

Pepsi was accused of appropriating the resistance movement for commercialized purposes.
