Ashley Benson Says Having Pink Hair Was Really Fun

Who remembers when Ashley Benson had pink hair?

The Pretty Little Liars actress took the plunge and dyed her hair pink for her birthday last year — which was totally unexpected, but the result was so chic!

“It was my birthday, and I was with my friend and we were going to Puerto Rico the next day to do a shoot,” Ashley revealed. “We were always thinking about doing a pink wig. I was like, you know what, I’m going to come over to your house… get me semi-permanent hair dye and let’s just do it.”

She adds that after a talk with pal Nico Guillis, that the change was really fun to do.

In fact, after wrapping on Pretty Little Liars, most of the Liars actually did go through hair changes!

“It was so funny because everyone went to salons the next day and we all went to dinner and got tattoos, and we all came back with different hair,” Ashley shared. “It’s like getting out of college or high school and you’re like ‘Finally, freedom! what can we do?’ It was really funny.”
