Aly Raisman's Life Positivity Essay Is All You Ever Need To Read
There’s no question of if Aly Raisman is an inspirational person, we can tell you that she 100% is — and she keeps on proving it with an amazing essay.
The Olympic gymnast wrote for Elle magazine about positivity in just not her body, but in life.
“I saw in an interview one time, someone said instead of picking myself apart in the mirror, which is what so many people do, I start the day by telling myself that I look good and to focus on being a good person, working hard, and being smart and that makes me feel more beautiful and more confident,” Aly writes for the glossy.
“When you feel confident in the kind of person you are, everything else falls into place.”
She adds, “But you can’t rely on someone else to make you feel confident. You have to figure it out from within. Sometimes people expect others to make them feel confident and there is so much pressure if you’re in a relationship [for] the other person has to make you feel confident, but you have to love yourself first before you can really be happy.”
