When is Yara Shahidi Going to Make Her College Selection?

Black-ish actress Yara Shahidi isn’t like most 17-year-olds. She’s the star of a huge network comedy, she’s a political activist, and former First Lady Michelle Obama wrote her college recommendation letter, which, you know. Casual.

Oh, and Yara also has a 4.6 GPA and got into every school she applied to, which doesn’t seem even humanly possible.

“I feel like, in my head, ‘This is 12 years in the making, guys,’” she told E! News. “This was 12 academic years. We’re finally here!”

She is also making the choice to not make a choice — at least, not right away.

“I will be submitting May 1 at midnight,” Yara said.
