Auli'i Cravalho Is Officially Headed to TV in Musical Series 'Rise'

Auli’i Cravalho‘s new musical series has been officially picked up!

The 16-year-old Moana actress will be headed to the small screen in musical series Rise, which was just picked up by NBC, according to EW.

The show, which is based on the book Drama High, follows a teacher and family man who takes over his school’s lackluster theater department.

In the process, he galvanizes not only the faculty and students but the entire working-class town.

The show is also set to star Josh Radnor, Rosie Perez and Amy Forsyth and will feature Shannon Purser.
