Auli'i Cravalho & Mae Whitman Promote Their New Shows at NBC Upfronts 2017
Auli’i Cravalho looks super sweet while attending the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront held at Radio City Music Hall on Monday (May 15) in New York City.
The 16-year-old Moana actress stars in the new series Rise, which follows dedicated teacher and family man Lou Mazzuchelli (Josh Radnor) who sheds his own self-doubt and takes over the school’s lackluster theater department.
Mae Whitman was also at the Upfronts for her upcoming series Good Girls about three suburban moms who get tired of trying to make ends meet, and decide it’s time to stick up for themselves by robbing the local supermarket at (toy) gunpoint.
Meanwhile, Halston Sage hit up the FOX presentation where she promoted her show The Orville, a comedic drama set 400 years in the future that follows the adventures of The Orville, a mid-level exploratory spaceship, as its crew, both human and alien, face the wonders and dangers of outer space, while also dealing with the familiar, often humorous problems of everyday life.
