Harry Styles Was Making Eggs When He First Heard 'Sign of the Times' on the Radio + Four More Secrets

Yesterday, on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip in a small, iconic club called The Roxy, Harry Styles took to the stage to perform for, maybe, 100 people… including us.

Harry took to the stage for Sirius XM Hits 1 show in what is becoming his signature Gucci look (this time a green snack slithered down the back of his mauve suit).

The 23-year-old opened with “Carolina” and closed with “Sign of the Times,” and he was incredible. (You can see for yourself on our Instagram Story right now!)

In the most humble and charming Harry Styles manner, he took time in between songs to chat with Hits 1 hosts Michael Yo, Tony Fly and Symon and to answer fan questions. Here’s what we learned:

* Harry loves, loves, loves his fans: “My whole life working music I have been continuously surprised by how amazing and supportive they are,” he said humbly before he even began the show. “I’m in love with you all.”

* He was nervous embarking on a solo career: “It was scary doing something on your own. I’m also having a lot of fun. I’m very lucky, and I’m having a good time.”

* He was in his kitchen when he first heard “Sign of the Times” on the Radio: “I was making eggs. I was listening to it on big speakers, and I was like, ‘It sounds sick on the radio, and I liked it. It was a good moment.”

* Harry thinks his (incredible) fashion is no big deal: “I think clothes are clothes. I think you should have fun with them and everyone should wear what they want to wear.”

* His favorite song on his new album is “From the Dining Table”: “The (dining room table) is where most of the album was written.”
