Joshua Rush is sharing 10 fun facts with JJJ!

The 15-year-old accomplished actor stars in Disney Channel’s new show Andi Mack, about a 13-year-old girl who’s trying to determine where she fits in and the many amazing ways she can live her life.

Joshua plays Cyrus, one of her best friends.

“I really felt a great connection to Cyrus that grew through over the course of the season, and it’s been a joy to give him a voice,” Joshua told us. “My first impression of him was ‘Wow, this kid sounds a lot like me!’ He’s quirky, not athletic, and generally just a little awkward. He’s got a sense of humor that can make just about anyone laugh.”

1. I love to travel, and I often travel free with my mom because of her frequent flyer program!

2. I can move my ears, but my scalp is connected to them, so it looks like I’m moving my hair!

3. I fell in love with politics at the Ted Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate in Boston, MA.

4. Don’t mess with me. I had an orange belt in karate in kindergarten ;)

5. I’m very passionate about getting kids excited about reading, and I read to classes at an elementary school once a week.

6. I used to barely post on my social media at all, but now there’s never less than 10 posts in my Instagram story!

7. The first time I ever acted in front of a crowd in preschool I played a rock. But rather than staying still, I kept waving at my dad! Hopefully, I’ve gotten better since then�

8. I got second place in my school Spelling Bee! The winner ended up becoming one of the 10 best in the country.

9. Once I did a music video with Solange Knowles (Beyonce‘s sister) called “Baby Jamz!”

10. I once made friends with a chimp. Her name was Suzy, and we keep in touch.
