Sabrina Carpenter's Advice About Being A Role Model: 'You Can't Please Everyone'

These days, as soon as you are in the spotlight, you’re expected to be some sort of role model for the younger generation — and it’s not lost on Sabrina Carpenter.

In a new interview, the “Eyes Wide Open” singer opened up about the responsibility and how she personally handles it.

“I think that, you have to be doing it almost for yourself,” she shared. “I think so much of it is knowing you can’t please everybody, because I’m the type of person that wants to please everybody.”

Sabrina adds, “At the end of the day, would you rather be a happy person or a miserable person? People make mistakes and you’re going to get through it, but also, make it as fun as you can and don’t take it too seriously.”

“It truly is your job, but you should be having fun.”

Earlier this week, Sabrina ran into Corey Fogelmanis in London (where he’s filming) and he shared the cutest pic. Check it out below!
