This is Elle Fanning's Biggest Beauty Regret & It Could Be So Much Worse

Elle Fanning has revealed her biggest beauty regret in a new interview and, no surprise, it isn’t all that bad.

We don’t think we’ve ever seen Elle NOT looking fierce, so we were super curious what she would say! It turns out, the 19-year-old actress’ biggest faux-pas involves her over-the-top, glittery eye makeup looks.

“I did experiment with a lot of colors on my eyes and things, which I absolutely love,” she told People, “I just think maybe I’ve gone a little overboard with that sometimes.”

Still, she isn’t writing off the bold look completely.

“So sometimes you’re like ‘whoa!’ but you have to make sure that you do the color correctly,” she continued, “Like it totally can be done, but sometimes if you don’t put enough mascara on or you don’t darken around the eyes enough, your eyes kind of go away and they become small.”

Elle has been going for much more natural makeup looks lately, but we think she should definitely keep trying; you can never have too much glitter!
