Karan Brar Writes Touching Letter To Dad For 'Father's Day' (Exclusive)

Karan Brar completely stole our hearts as Ravi in Jessie and Bunk’D, and now he’s stealing it all over again with a really sweet Father’s Day letter to his own, Harry.

The actor, who will star in the upcoming Pacific Rim: Maelstrom, opened up in his letter on just how grateful he is for his father’s sacrifices.

Dear Dad,

When you told me the story about how you first came to this country it left me speechless. You told me of how you, completely alone, flew to a country you had only read about�with only $50 in your pocket and one goal in mind. You gave up everything so Sabreena and I could have futures and opportunities you never had back home in India.

It really amazes me how one human can be so selfless: giving up everything for a chance at a better future for his kids. No matter how hard I try, there will never be words to describe how grateful I am.

I also want to take the time to remind you what an amazing human and father you are. Ever since I was kid you have always supported all of my crazy aspirations, even moving our entire family to Los Angeles so I could pursue my career as an actor. And along that crazy road you also taught me how to be a good person. You told me to always be kind, respectful, and open minded, amongst many other things. These are all lessons I will carry with me throughout my life. So in short, I love you dad. Happy Fathers’ Day!
