Jake Miller Opens Up About Being a 'Girlfriend Guy' in a New Interview (Video)

Jake Miller released his self-produced album, 2:00AM in LA, just last week (listen here) and a ton of the songs are on the melancholy side, inspired by his emotions after splitting from his girlfriend of eight years.

He opened up about his life post-relationship in a new interview.

“I don’t go out that much anymore,” he told Zach Sang on the Zach Sang Show. “When I first was single I would go out all the time but… the grass is not greener on the other side,” he explained.

Jake considers himself a “girlfriend guy,” and despite his single status, that’s what he is always on the lookout for.

“I want somebody to take out to the movies,” he continued, “I want to go to dinner.”

He also talked about his ex-girlfriend, saying that the two split amicably and are still on good terms.

“We still see each other…I didn’t ever wanna see her with somebody else,” he said. He also hasn’t ruled out getting back together with her at all: “I’m not saying I’ll never get back with her,” he explained, “I have no idea. I kind of hope so. That’s the goal.”

After all, eight years is a long time to be together.
