The First Song Auli'i Cravalho Ever Sang in Public Was 'The Rainbow Song' From Barney!

Auli’i Cravalho and her Rise co-star Damon J. Gillespie stick together at NBC’s New Talent Mixer in New York City this week.

The two new network stars were seen at the event, mixing and mingling with Josh Radnor, Arielle Kebbel and more.

In a recent interview, Auli’i dished on her first ever performance and it’s cuteness will blow you away.

“I don’t even remember the name of the song. Everyone knows the song, except no one really knows it. It’s like “Red is the color of an apple, orange is the color of an orange …” Auli’i shared, not remember the name of “The Rainbow Song” from Barney & Friends.

She continued, “I’m pretty sure I stopped at yellow, because I had stage fright, and I was in a local pizza joint, because they said, if there was a rainbow, and you sang the song, you get a free slice of pizza.”

But, she didn’t get that free slice of pizza.

“My mom had to buy me the slice of pizza because I couldn’t finish the song,” Auli’i says. “But I do believe that was the first song I ever sang in public.”
