Paris Berelc's On Screen Mom Tiffani Thiessen Reveals More About 'Alexa & Katie's Plotline

Just a few weeks ago, we saw Paris Berelc chop off almost all of her signature long hair for her new Netflix show, Alexa & Katie.

JJJ didn’t think anything of it — until her on-screen mom Tiffani Thiessen shared a brand new piece of info about the show and it’s changed everything.

While talking with ET about going from being every guy’s first crush to playing a mom, Tiffani said that the show is a really serious one.

“The show, it has a very serious message, but it’s a comedy,” she shared. “I play the mother of a teenage girl that’s actually going through cancer.”

“It is [a serious role], but at the same time, it’s a coming-of-age story about these two young girls embarking on high school, and even though there’s cancer to it, they really try to make it light,” Tiffani adds.

“Kind of the hard part of it is just being teenagers: they’re worried about what they’re going to wear to high school, and, you know, things that we all worried about… on top of her having cancer.”
