Bailee Madison‘s boyfriend Alex Lange was more than happy to miss his own school’s prom to be with her raising money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand – a charity that benefits childhood cancer.

He also still brought her to prom.

In an adorable new video, Alex documents both their experience with Alex’s Lemonade Stand and how he promposed to her afterwards, taking her out for a magical evening.

While Bailee went to lunch with her mom, Alex changed into a tux and gave the hotel concierge a piece of paper that read: “Will you be my prom date?” on it. (He also hilariously worried that Bailee would think the concierge was inviting her to prom.)
