Dove Cameron Reveals the First Thing She Loved About Thomas Doherty (Exclusive)

Before Dove Cameron fell in love with Thomas Doherty, there was something in particular that struck her about him.

The 21-year-old actress recently talked to JJJ about what she first noticed about her Descendants 2 co-star, and now-boyfriend.

“The first thing I loved about Thomas…honestly, that’s a really hard question to answer because I’m dating him now,” she told us. “So I think the first thing I maybe noticed positively – because I didn’t love him for a while – was that he was very…every conversation you had with him was very intimate. He saw through me immediately.”

Aw! How sweet is that? She recently told us the whole cast and crew noticed their chemistry before they even became a couple.

Dove also gushed over her other new co-stars – China Anne McClain and Dylan Playfair.

“First thing I loved about China – her and I have known each other for many years and we clicked immediately,” she said. “We’ve always been friends. She’s very happy and I’m very happy.”

“First thing I loved about Dylan was how immediately connected we were,” Dove told JJJ. “We’re kindred spirits. We talk for hours about philosophy and travel, and he was a very fast friend.”
