Dove Cameron Would Love To Write A Movie About Her Father

The Descendants 2 actress had been in the Big Apple all week promoting the new DCOM, which premieres on Disney Channel tonight.

Speak with EW recently, Dove confessed that she’d love to write a movie about her late father, who passed away during her teenage years.

“He took his own life, and he also was closeted, which we only found out after he died,” she shared about her father. “When I found that out, I was like, everything adds up. He was such a sensitive person. He had bursts of anger, but he was also so beautiful and he designed jewelry and went to the Peace Corps.”

Dove adds, “I’d really like to write a movie about him one day, because my dad was just the most fascinating human being.”
