Jake Miller Just Put Out An Acoustic Version of '2 AM in LA'!

Jake Miller pulled off the ultimate surprise on his fans last night — he dropped an acoustic version of 2 AM in LA!

“Just me and a guitar, that would be cool,” the singer mused to JJJ in our recent interview, opening up about how an acoustic version of his most recent album seems right up his alley.

He adds, “I’ve always been drawn to acoustic songs — it just takes the whole beat out of it and you concentrate on the lyrics and the meaning of the song more.”

Jake says, “I’m a lyric guy. I think the lyrics are way more important when it comes to songs than the beat. The beat is important, but it’s the lyrics that get me. With an acoustic album, not having that beat is what gets the point across. You’re listening to every word and every emotion.”
