Dove Cameron Pens an Emotional Essay About All of the Blessings in Her Life

Dove Cameron stars in Descendants 2, which has garnered 21 million views so far, and she is performing in Mamma Mia on-stage at the Hollywood Bowl this weekend — and she has a lot to say about her life right now.

The 21-year-old actress shared an eloquent, beautiful essay on Twitter today (July 26) sharing how much her life and her fans mean to her.

“just closed the door to my dressing room for Mamma Mia and sat down and immediately began to cry,” her note reads, “i cannot believe this life i get to live and i don’t know who decided i was deserving of all of this. i have never felt worthy of the love, the opportunities, or the magic, and i never get less grateful or more adjusted to the blessings.”

She then addresses her life in terms of the love she feels and uses: “love is the magic and the energy of life, and i get to express it and feel it every day on the grandest and smallest of scales…so thank you, to my fans, my friends, my family, my boyfriend.”

Dove ends the essay by letting her fans know she loves them, writing: “i feel it all. i feel you all.”
