DC Superhero Crossover on The CW Will Host Major Life Event

Just last week during the TCA tour, the CW announced the exact dates that the DC Superhero Crossover would be happening — and now there are even more new details about it.

“It’s a full, four-episode crossover across the board,” CW president Mark Pedowitz shared. “This will be even bigger.”

Last year’s crossover was introduced in Supergirl‘s final moments, so having this as a true four-show crossover is exciting.

Romance is also in the air for the four-show special.

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim adds, “There’s no way that we can top aliens last year, so let’s up the emotional content. I’m not saying the emotion is romantic, necessarily. We wanted there to be some really big emotional turns for our characters.”

“One of the differences about the crossover this year, as opposed to years past, is, we’re doing some big character moves that affect all four of the shows.”

Could this be when Barry and Iris get married? Or even Oliver and Felicity?

Executive producer Greg Berlanti, doesn’t confirm anything about that: “Our way of making the show bigger this year was to go even more personal. It’s a big life event for a few different people on the show…there are many life events that happen.”

The Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will air in late November on The CW.
