Demi Lovato Talks Prioritizing Her Mental Health & Going to Therapy

No one’s mental health is perfect all of the time, and Demi Lovato joins a number of celebs, from Ethan Dolan to Katy Perry, who have been outspoken about getting help and staying healthy.

“I take care of my mental health,” the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer tells Entertainment Tonight in a video interview. “It’s definitely something that I prioritize. I see a therapist two days a week, I reach out to people whenever I’m struggling with something.”

She also prioritizes her mental health by ignoring negative comments online.

“I don’t really deal with body-shamers anymore because I don’t look at it,” Demi continues. “I focus on what I see in the mirror because that’s a beautiful person. If I see a comment that says ‘she’s fat’ or whatever, I let it roll off my back. I’m healthy. Whatever my body is right now is what it is.”
